The central mission of the Penn TREC Survivor Center is to advance science on energetics and cancer survivorship, toward the goal of improving both the length and quality of cancer survivorship.
Jonathan Mitchell, Ph.D is a Postdoctoral Fellow (F32) in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, at the University of Pennsylvania. Jonathan received his Ph.D. in exercise science from the University of South Carolina (2011), his M.Sc. in human nutrition from the University of Glasgow (2006), and his B.Sc. (Hons) in physiology from the University of Glasgow (2004). His research interests include childhood obesity, childhood physical activity/sedentary behavior, and chronic disease prevention. As a Postdoctoral Fellow he is receiving training in the areas of cancer epidemiology and genetic epidemiology.
